Hi, I am Bar Kazdan.

Born in Tel Aviv, now living in London.

I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Interior design from the Holon Institute of Technology.

 

Growing up with a construction site manager as a father, I was surrounded and immersed in a world of building materials and concrete. I was always fascinated with the connection between these materials and the small pieces that hold everything together. I remember going through my dad’s toolbox, enchanted and inspired dreaming about the different creations that could be brought to life. Thinking of different worlds these items can exist in.

 

It was during my interior design studies where I put these items at the heart of my work. I found myself going back into that toolbox, finding inspiration and ideas from Tel Aviv’s warehouses and construction sites. I realized that by taking an item from its trivial role and showcasing it as the center piece, the item transforms into beautiful jewelry, taking a new meaningful role in the world. And so, a new collection was born, all handmade, using these wonderful items and my philosophy. Completely versatile and boundaryless, it has inspired my graduation project and is an integral part of who I am today as a designer and creator.
